Story

On July 10, 2016, I'll be running the British 10k in London together with my husband, Simon Collison, to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support. It'll be our first 10k race so we want to make it extra special—I'm aiming to raise £250 and Simon is aiming to raise £500 for this important charity.

Cancer has affected so many people's lives, including our own. I'll be running in celebration of my parents, Dorothy and Gerry Coady, both of whom have battled cancer and survived—but we'll also be running in memory of Simon's father, David Collison, who passed away from cancer in 2008.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

We both hope you'll support us and we'll do our best on race day!

Love, Geri
