Hello you lovely lot. Thanks for taking the time to read this and hopefully donate to an incredible cause. I felt very inspired around the build-up to both the Manchester and London marathons this year and for some reason thought it was wise to apply for one in 2024. This is something I’ve wanted to do but never really thought I could - I’ve not really got a choice now! 

Princess Alice Hospice are a local charity that provides end-of-life care to those in need. The support they provide patients and families of patients before, during, and after death is outstanding. The hospice bestows comfort to those who are experiencing the most difficult times in life. Both my Mum and my Brother have also raised money for Princess Alice.

I am also running in memory of someone in particular; Pam Smith. My Mum and Pam had an incredible friendship from the moment they met, they were barely indistinguishable in some photos! Pam was such an inspiring person and a great mother to her two children. Mum will always reflect on the times they had together with comfort and warmth. Pam was cared for by the amazing staff at Princess Alice Hospice, giving her and her family some comfort in what must have been an incredibly difficult period.
