As a family we are pleased and delighted that Karen has been given a place on a pilgrimage to Lourdes in June of this year.

 Across  operate a "Jumbulance" which is a coach converted into an ambulance to take seriously sick and disabled people to Lourdes.

Due to Karen's condition this is the only means of travel open to her, so you can understand why we are so pleased that she has been offered a place. We are even more fortunate in that her place has been fully funded. The cost for each person is £725 - Karen will need a carer and a nurse to accompany her also, so the total cost is £2175.

We are holding a benefit dance for Across Chingford Branch on Saturday the 27th April 2013 in the Guildhall of the Ilford Catholic Club, High Rd, Ilford. We would love as many of our friends and family to join us on the night, from 8pm - 1am. I do hope that you can make it. 

There will be a £5 donation per person payable on the door and we will hold a raffle and auction on the night, hopefully allowing us to achieve our target of raising £2,000.

If you are unable to join us or would like to give more to this worthy cause then we would greatly appreciate any donations on this JustGiving page. All of the information about the charity is available on the website www.across.org.uk.
