Fundraising For Surgeries and Therapies

Story

Paul Turner (Max's father), Andy Coole, Ian Perrelle and Steve Yates have decided, after one too many, to cycle from Morecambe to Scarborough over 3 days.  The fun begins on Friday 21st September.

22 years after leaving school the four of us are reuniting to cycle over 150 miles in 3 days from the west to east coast finishing in Scarborough where we all first met and became friends.  With limited to no cycling experience some might call this crazy.  However, we are doing this to kick off a fundraising campaign that will hopefully allow Max to have life-changing SDR surgery either in the UK or US.  This surgery, rehabilitation and physio could cost up to £100,000.

Max lives with Cerebral Palsy and every day is filled with challenges. He desperately wants to walk and SDR surgery could help him achieve this goal.
