Hi friends,
Back in 2018 I went from being young, healthy (somewhat), and carefree. It was then my life changed. I went through a lung transplant and happened to have a spinal cord injury at the same time leaving me paraplegic.
I was told I was never going to walk again... With the help of my husband, family, friends, and of course, Neuromoves, I am proud to say I can now walk short distances with my walking stick and crutches.
I must admit I have lost quite a lot of motivation to exercise and stay active, but am still hopeful that I can continue to make small gains. I wanted to find a way to motivate myself to continue smashing goals and what better way to challenge myself by completing this challenge, and at the same time, giving back to an organisation that has helped me along the way.
This September I am going to spend 30 mins a day on the treadmill. I have not got on the treadmill for half a year, so please wish me luck!
Any support no matter how big or small is greatly appreciated! Your generosity will go towards helping people like me continue with their goals.
Thank you so much:)
