The world is tough right now! 

1 in 4 of us are experiencing mental health problems so prioritising mental health has never been so important. 

As a group of South Eastern Railway Employees we want to tackle the stigma around the subject. Over 250 people a year use the railway to help them commit suicide. As a group of employees we have all been involved in a suicide or an attempt.  Therefore, for Mind UK we will be walking & talking all the way from Ramsgate to London Victoria, to make it that bit tougher we will be calling at all train stations of a main line train service. We hope to raise as much money as possible but equally want to raise awareness around mental health issues! 

People will be able to track our journey, come & join us for a chat, tell us their stories or even walk 5 minutes/5 miles with us. They can even just cheer us in at a station to help boost our moral (we will need it). To be clear none of us our athletes! We want to promote that just by talking or walking can be great for your overall well-being. 

This event is going to be known as “ Getting back on Track” and will take place over 4 days starting at Ramsgate Station on Sunday 9th October 2022 then concluding at London Victoria on Wednesday 12th October 2022. Updates to follow with estimated ETA’s & stations.
