Refuweegee was set up in December 2015 to provide a warm welcome to forcibly displaced people arriving in Glasgow. As a result of the amazing response from people in Glasgow and beyond, we have provided over 5000 community-built, personal welcome packs to people all over Glasgow and across Scotland.

Story

This year for International Women's Day GlasgowFrontRunners are raising money for Refuweegee. 


Refuweegee is a Glasgow based charity that welcomes people to Glasgow and the rest of Scotland who have been forcibly displaced from all over the world. 

They do this through creating welcome packs, writing letters, donations and fundraising. 

Since they began in 2015, they have been able to provide over 10,000 welcome packs and emergency support packs to people across Scotland.

Please help us raise some much needed funds towards this great cause, at this time more than any other.
