On Saturday 14th March the GHA U18's will be taking part in a squad head shaving in support of their team mate Dan.

Dan has been in the hospital with AML (acute myeloid leukaemia) for over a month now, going through chemotherapy and GHA U18's want to show their support by raising money for The Beatson, where Dan has been staying for his treatment.

"As a result of my treatment I get pretty tired and it takes a while to recover however, once recovered, The Beatson provides many different things to support in getting better such as a wellbeing centre which provides complementary therapy if you want it, there’s also a Teenage Cancer Trust lounge which is accessible just for the patients aged 16-24 it’s got things like a pool table , PlayStation and a tv with sky and BT."
