In August 2022, I will be attempting to climb Mt. Kilimanjaro in Tanzania in aid of Meningitis Research Foundation, a charity which helps to raise awareness and combat meningitis and sepsis.

My primary motivation for undertaking this campaign is largely down to personally knowing a few people who have had run-ins with both meningitis and sepsis in the past, as well as recently finding out that it is not as well known as diseases such as cancer and tetanus. 

I am also a massive believer in doing whatever I can to help make people's lives better or easier, and if climbing Kilimanjaro can help do that, then I consider it a privilege to help.
