Story
I am raising money for the Stroke Association because of the effect it had on my mother. Both of my parents died of lung cancer, but I'm raising money for the stroke association because i think it was the stroke that broke my mother. She went from a strong independant woman to someone who couldn't make herself a cup of tea.
I helped her with physio and tried to get her moving as much as possible, but it wasn't enough to stop her muscles weakening.
