I am so incredibly honoured to be running for Diabetes UK and being part of their London Marathon team!

Cannot wait to get fundraising ASAP and to help raise as much money as possible to fund the finding of a cure for diabetes.

My wife and I have two boys Harvey and Theo, who both suffer with Type 1, Harvey for 5 years now and Theo for 2.5! As a dad I would jump at the chance to swap places but unfortunately I can't. So the next best thing is to help raise money, awareness and finding a cure.

I completed the virtual marathon in October. I ran from Bognor Regis Pier to Brighton Pier, pushing a toilet. This was very different and great fun and certainly got people interested. So in April the Toilet / Bog will be out for Number Two! One Man and His Bog the sequel.

Why a toilet I hear you cry? Well one of the very first signs of Type 1 diabetes is wanting to spend a penny very frequently!! Back in Victorian times it was known as; "the pissing disease". So me running with a toilet will raise awareness and hopefully much needed funds towards research into this disease.

I will be training very hard from now until April 23rd, hopefully it warms up a little and I can bring the bog out for a few practice runs.
