The Trust exists to celebrate the life of William Wates (1977- 1996) who was tragically killed when travelling in South America. The William Wates Memorial Trust was set up in 1998 with a mission to help disadvantaged young people fulfil their potential and stay away from a life of crime.

Story

Hi everyone and thanks for visiting my fundraising page,

Well, the Tour De Force is back in town and ready to set off in late June 3 weeks ahead of the real Tour De France so we get the new roads first!

I will be taking on Stage 16 of this years Tour from Luchon to Pau, 196km in one day including 5 Cols (think big mountains with steep slopes). Check out the link below to see what all the fuss is about.

Training everyday and cycling to and from work 40 miles round trip plus long weekend rides.

So if you fancy donating £10 or more to the cause and helping disadvantaged children along the way that would be greatly appreciated.

Love you all! and yes that is an old picture of when I was fit, thank you very much.
