Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

In 2018 I saw a post on Facebook for a cycle ride from Milan to Venice in May 2019 so I thought it would give me a target to aim for, especially as I'd recently discovered a love of cycling.

However not long after I signed up for the challenge, I was diagnosed with breast cancer so I had to postpone my entry as I was still recovering from treatment and suffering with fatigue.

My application was transferred to 2020 but, as we all know, Covid happened so the challenge has now been postponed to September 2022.

Since the challenge postponement, I received a second diagnosis of breast cancer which meant having a mastectomy in November 2021. But I’m back training and working through fatigue as I’m determined to do this challenge and raise money for three worthy charities.
