The Hospice helps people to live their precious lives well. Our care has many forms – at home, in our outpatient Spring Centre or through specialised care in one of our Hospice beds - and is defined by each person's need. We rely on donations to raise the £5m we need each year to fund our free care.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Please help me to raise money in memory of my Sister in law Nese and my Mum.  Both were cared for at the Hospice my mum 30 years ago and my Sister in law more recently 7 years ago.

The Hospice staff are truly wonderful and the care they give is outstanding.  I will forever be in their debt for helping me and my family through some of the toughest times.   I know how hard they have to work and fundraise to keep this facility open and that is challenging to say the least.

You may think that you have donated in the past, however it is vital that we keep giving so that the work that they do and the care that they give our loved ones continue.

Nese was a special lady who gave her time to help others and fostered many children and gave them the love and care missing from their lives.  She is remembered by a lot of people for her loving caring nature.  My Mum the same, she was the most wonderful kind and giving person. It is cruel how the best people are taken from us far too soon.

I will do my best to trek In their memory and I know they will be looking down on me and smiling as it is a little out of my comfort zone, but for 2 amazing people I am willing to give it a go.

Thank you.
