I am taking part in a 12 mile horse ride around Pelham's Pillar, this is to raise money for Bransby Horses Rescue and Welfare Centre. 

Every year for the past 45 years, Bransby and it's staff have dedicated their lives to prevent and relieve cruelty to horses, ponies and donkeys, to protect them from unnecessary suffering.

In 2012 and 1013 Bransby took in more than 180 horses in their care, most of these where rescued directly from situations of cruelty or neglect.

Anyone who owns pets understands the massive financial and physical commitment animals need, unfortunately due to rising prices people are unable to provide the continual and vital care needed for these animals.

Centres like Bransby are vital for the preservation of these beautiful creatures, no animal deserves to suffer in any way! We all live and share this planet and by helping each other (people and animals) we can all live happier and healthier lives.
