Story

Gill passed away on 5th May 2017 after fighting cancer for around a year. For the funeral, the family have requested that flowers should not be sent, and that money should instead be given to one of two charities:

Macmillan was chosen, as, in Gill's words:

"I was diagnosed with bowel cancer in June last year after being emergency evacuated from the Central African Republic shortly after my 32nd birthday. ....Fundraising for Macmillan seemed the right thing to do, as the organisation's been so helpful through my diagnosis and treatment. F*ck cancer dudes!"

The other charity, Shine Cancer Support, can be donated to in Gill's name at www.justgiving.com/fundraising/gillconquest-shine/
