For those that know me, I am more of a casual/commuter cyclist than a real cyclist with the odd 'challenge' thrown in there! This year I've clearly taken leave of my senses and decided to go BIG on the challenge.... 500km in 4 days BIG! 

This has all been spurred on by the possibility of supporting the amazing Action Medical Research. I have to admit, not a charity I was overly familiar with to begin but am now completely bowled over by the work that they have done so though that it was worth the inevitable pain and torture that was in front of me!

Action Medical Research are the leading UK charity dedicated to funding vital research to help sick and disabled babies, children and young people. Action have been funding medical breakthroughs for 70 years now and have helped to beat polio, fight meningitis, prevent stillbirths and develop ultrasound scanning in pregnancy. They are now driving forward childrens research, including in the fight against COVID-19 and rare diseases.Raptör, the multi-day ride for the Insurance Industry, is back for a fourth year that will see riders cycling 310 miles from London Amsterdam Brussels to raise for this incredible charity.By donating, you are helping to find ways to reduce premature birth, to support children facing a lifetime of challenges caused by disabilities, and to develop cutting-edge therapies for rare and incurable diseases.
