Story
I am running the London Marathon in memory of a young woman who was and will always be very special to me, Brónagh Clifford-Knapp.
Brónagh was wonderful - kind, funny and brave, with a fabulous sense of humour and an infectious laugh, a complete one-off, and I miss her every day. I had known her since she was 13 and we stayed close until she lost her battle with mental illness last year, a few days before her 28th birthday.
MIND helps those of us, like Brónagh, who struggle with our mental health. I think about her on every run (she'd be laughing and encouraging me) and I hope you will support my fundraising. I could not be more proud to do this in her memory.
Thank you x
