Story
Thanks everyone for your massive support.
London Marathon 2010 was wonderful, literally from the start to the finish line and the 26.2 miles in between. The enthusiastic friendly local residents, the thousands of cheering spectators, my family and friends who were there to boost my spirits and give me a quick hug before urging me back on track, the incredible camaraderie of the runners forever helping each other to continue, it was all tremendous. The previous months of gruelling training with resulting injuries and pain paid off. On the day it was all about people raising money for charity. Magen David Adom and those it helps really appreciate your donations.

Remember at school the sports teacher picked captains who chose their teams? Well, no surprise that I was always the last girl to be picked for netball. I couldn't run and had zero coordination. I still have zero coordination but amazing how all you need to run is the ability to put one foot in front of the other, a pair ot trainers and sheer bloodymindedness.
But there's running and there is running. The London Marathon is my Everest and I'm finding training very, very hard.
All you have to do is keep donating, while I keep plodding the streets and survive the 26 mile torture itself.
Admit you're jealous!
