My daughter, Anna has been volunteering at Ravelrig RDA for the past 2 years and is now training to become a RDA instructor. Through her, I have learnt about the benefits and support that the charity provides to both children and adults. They have a wide range of disabilities which means they are unable to participate in daily activities that we all take for granted. The Ravelrig Riding for the Disabled provides lessons of different abilities so that each rider can participate at their own level with the required amount of support from the volunteers. Anna has seen first hand both the physical and emotional benefits that the horses have on the riders. Unfortunately there is a long waiting list to take part in the weekly lessons therefore please help me support their work further so that many more children and adults can benefit from this great cause.
