Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

Gillian Macdonald was a much valued colleague within the operating  theatre department at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh. Sadly Gill passed away last year after a short battle with cancer.

In collaboration with the Edinburgh and Lothians Health Foundation, we have established a memorial fund in Gillians name.  The purpose of this fund is to provide small grants to operating theatre staff within Edinburgh and the Lothians to support their education and development. This is in recognition of Gillians passion for education and her role as education lead for the transplant Operating theatres over many years.

Gillians family, friends and colleagues will be undertaking a range of fundraising activities to raise as much money as possible in Gillians memory.

Updates on current fundraising activities will be posted on a regular basis so bookmark this page and keep popping back!
