Anna was forced to work in a factory for six months without pay, living in horrendous conditions. She said "without Hope for Justice I don't know what would have happened to me or where I would be. If you didn't help me, maybe I wouldn't be alive." Hope for Justice supported Anna to access a place to live after her trafficking experience, as well as counselling and food parcels that she says prevented her from starving to death. Hope for Justice also helped her through the criminal justice process, where she saw her traffickers convicted. Anna is now working and has recently got married.
