My lovely friend Brian got cancer and in his recovery has set up a charity to help others who find themselves in this scary and often lonely place. His charity 'From Me to You', encourages people to write letters to family, friends and strangers who have cancer.

As a brilliant opportunity to help raise some money for this, I have decided to walk a part of the 'Camino Way' (the coastal route through Northern Portugal/Spain). Brian is walking along with me to ensure I  complete all of the 150kms.

I am also using this as an opportunity to get fitter, but as many of you will know, I am not a natural sportswoman and this is certainly going to be out of my comfort zone! And so any support and encouragement gratefully received.
