Your gift will be used towards the work of Operation Agri, specifically providing a year's salary for a health trainer, support for training sessions and the construction of a number of toilets for homes which currently have no adequate sanitation system.  All this is happening in and around a town called Itahari in the east of Nepal and within a project supported by Operation Agri called the Community Health and Education Project.  The communities into which the project reaches are some of the poorest in Nepal and are in great need of the help which this programme of activities provides.  As well as health, the project covers micro-saving schemes and handicraft training.  The disease incidence in the areas covered is greatly reduced with the introduction of these resources.
