Our mum Gillian Colson, who sadly passed away in February, was a great animal lover.

In particular, she loved donkeys and the raising money for the Donkey Sanctuary in Sidmouth. Those of you who knew Gillian would be very aware that was a dedicated crochet and knitting devotee and she made many items for the donkeys to wear and for the Sanctuary to sell to raise money.

She also sponsored 2 donkeys, Alice & Marko and was always very pleased to see their progress from the updates she received.
