Our mum Gillian Colson, who sadly passed away in February, was a great animal lover.

In particular, she loved donkeys and raising money for the
Donkey Sanctuary in Sidmouth. Those of you who knew Gill will be very aware that she was a dedicated crochet and knitting devotee and she made many woollen items over the years for both the donkeys to wear and for the Sanctuary to sell to help raise much needed funds.

She also sponsored 2 donkeys, Bonnie & Marko, and was
always very pleased to see their progress from the regular updates she received.
