Mum died on the 19th August 2018 aged 97. For the last 15 years, as her sight deteriorated through glaucoma and AMD, she has really valued the Talking Books service from RNIB. Every few weeks we would choose some books together and they would get delivered to her and she would listen to them on her CD player. She even belonged to a Book Group at Pinner library and discussed the books with others. I came across the option to create a Talking Book in her memory and thought this would be a fitting memorial. Once we reach the target we will get to choose a book to be recorded and they will record a dedication it at the start to Gillian Roe. Thank you for any donation however large or small.
