Gill's 60 miles for 60 years of Blood Cancer UK

60 miles to celebrate 60 years of Blood Cancer UK · 18 September 2020
As many of you know, I was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukaemia in August 2013. Thanks to research funded by charities like Blood Cancer UK, I am still here.
Sadly, many blood cancer patients are not as lucky. With more research, we hope to give everyone a chance to beat blood cancer. But like many charities, Blood Cancer UK’s fundraising income has been badly hit by the coronavirus pandemic - putting this vital research at risk.
I am challenging myself to walk 60 miles in 60 (ish!) days to fundraise for Blood Cancer UK in their 60th year. That may not sound too difficult for many, but it’s definitely a challenge for me at the moment!
I know times are a bit difficult right now, but if you would like to spur me on and support a charity that has done so much for me, please “buy me” / donate the price of a) a cup of coffee, b) a pint, c) a glass of wine or if you are feeling particularly flush, d) a cocktail...(London prices optional). Or do the same for a charity you have a personal connection to because ALL charities are struggling right now.
A 1,000 thanks,
Gill x
