Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
In 2019 I challenged myself by accepting an invitation from Walking With The Wounded to run the London Marathon and raise money for them. The training was tough, the big day itself was incredible, and the generosity of my friends and family was unbelievable and made loosing toenails totally worthwhile!!
My 2020 Challenge is a 100km Sahara Trek for WWTW It will take 6 days to walk 100km and at night I will be sleeping in a tent. Luggage is carried by camels and the temperature will range from mid to high 20s during the day to -5 at night
I can’t wait!!
I’ve set a fund raising target of £1000 which will help WWTW continue their amazing and vital work helping veterans and their families to regain their independence, thrive and contribute in their communities. £1000 resonates with me - it is the Charity’s 10th anniversary so I’m raising £100 for each year of their invaluable work. Or to look at it another way, I will be raising £10 per sandy kilometre I walk!! Either way it’s a good round figure and with your help I know I can raise it
Thank you 😎👣🐪⛺️🌴 xxx
