Hello Friends!! 

Last year was rough. Not only did we all miss out on making
memories with families and loved ones, we missed out on births, deaths, birthdays, and all the little in between moments that make life wonderful. While I think about all these things that I took for granted, I think about the people who went without important needs like medical and vision care. It broke my heart. I was not able to do any of my volunteer work in 2020. Not only was I unable to provide my services for any of the clinics in my hometown of Seattle,
I also wasn’t able to make the annual trip to Jamaica to provide for the wonderful people there. So many thousands went without the vital care volunteers provide here and all over the world. 

This will be my 5th year with iCare, and as always-I pay my own way from the project fees to airfare. This fundraising allows me to offset some of my costs. 90% will be given back to me and the other 10% goes back into the program for the awarded vacation. 

iCARE Vision Project:

· Serves over 4,000 rural Jamaicans in great need each year, giving the gift of sight to those who can’t even afford a pair of reading glasses. In the areas we work in, access to eye care is virtually non-existent. 

· Provides each patient with a full exam, plus prescription glasses, readers and/or sunglasses, as needed. We also provide referrals for advanced problems. In 2014, we began providing cataract surgeries. All of our services are free to the patient.

 · Is a life changing program that harnesses the compassion
and expertise of humanitarian eye care professionals, friends, family and anyone with a heart for service
