For one night I am swapping my bed for a sleeping bag and spending the night sleeping outside in cold November to experience a small part of what homeless people go through and to raise awareness and vital funds to help #endyouthhomelessness in Wales. This will be my 4th year and it never gets any easier doing it mentally or physically. Might I add I will be 'waking up' on my birthday on the street!

There is no sneaking off to a warm bed, this is real. This is winter. This has no comfort of an airbed or a warm cozy bed. The only thing between me and the floor is cardboard and a sleeping bag.

I’ve been touched by some genuine people that have become homeless and I want to do something to help raise awareness and much needed funds to provide a 5 star service to those that are needing it. 

With your help, I’d love to raise a nice amount of money for a very
worthwhile cause. Llamau are Wales’ leading homelessness charity and have been working across Wales for 28 years to support homeless young people and vulnerable women. They provide supported accomadation, housing advice, work placements, mental health support and basic living skills to help people on the road to a brighter future.

Each year an estimated 150,000 young people face homelessness across the UK. That’s enough young people to fill Cardiff City Stadium twice.

Last year Llamau supported over 8,600 young people, women, and their families to leave homelessness behind for good. But demand for our services increase year on year. By taking part in Sleep Out and fundraising for Llamau you will be helping us to eradicate homelessness in Wales.

Demands on services are increasing and in this tough economic crisis,
it’s vital to raise the valuable funds to keep these frontline services
