Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

My name is Daphne and I am 4 years old. I was born with an accidental mutation in a gene called CLCN4, which has made it difficult for me to coordinate my movements, see, speak and learn. Despite all that, I love life and all the fun things in it. I have just learnt to walk steadily and boy, is it just the most wonderful feeling to be toddling around all on my own. For the next two months, I will be walking the length of 60 football fields in 60 days, to raise money towards medical research into CLCN4. This will help not just me, but the other children with CLCN4, who need a little more support just like me. The more we raise, the more the researchers can do.
