My name is Gina and along with some of my VERY supportive friends, we are running the Leeds 10K in July, in support of The Children's Heart Surgery Fund.

My daughter, Rae, was born in May 2017 with a type of congenital heart disease called Tetralogy of Fallot. Thankfully this hole in Rae's heart was able to be repaired, meaning she has a bright, healthy future ahead of her.

The Children's Heart Surgery Fund based at Leeds General Infirmary have made all of this possible. Without them we wouldn't have received the fantastic care and support from the team before, during and after Rae's open heart surgery. I would like to be able to make a small contribution so that other families like us can receive the same care.
