In November 2022 I’m taking part in a 382km charity cycle from Ho Chi Minh in Vietnam to Siem Reap in Cambodia.

The cycle will take me through traditional Vietnamese villages, following streams and rivers, passing paddy fields, and views of the stunning mountains. I’ll then cross the border into Cambodia and push on to the world-famous temple site of Angkor Wat – arguably one of most fascinating wonders of the world!

I became a celebrant with Fuze Ceremonies in 2020. As a humanist organisation, the Fuze Foundation gives back each year by choosing charities to support. This year it is proud to be supporting the amazing CHAS, Children’s Hospices Across Scotland, who offer a full family support service for babies, children and young people with life-shortening conditions.

By taking part in this epic charity cycle I’m hoping to raise money for CHAS. Every penny raised will go directly to the charity helping to provide palliative care, family respite and support – through their hospices, homecare services and hospital presence.
