Story

So here is the deal, back in April I made an arrangement with my friend 'Ash' to support his fundraising for the '2015 London Marathon'. Needless to say he endured every single yard of the 26.2miles, finishing in 04:43.
The arrangement was a like for like deal, he survives the marathon in exchange for me shaving off my grizzly ginger beard that I’ve now been growing for close to 10 months!

Many of my friends have questioned why I was cultivating such fire red facial hair. Well to tell the truth, initially it was simply for the hell of it! But over time and I have come to realise my face fuzz could be put to good use.

Here is where you come in, on 18th July 2015 (one month from today), I plan to lose the beard with the help of my friends to fund-raise for ‘British Heart Foundation’. The BHF is the chosen charity of ‘Lil Hoppos Hi 5s’ a five-a-side touch rugby tournament held annually at my home rugby club Mold RUFC, in memory of a friend and teammate Paul ‘Wee Man’ Hopkins.

Lil Hoppos Hi 5s is now in its 6th year is looking to raise even more money for BHF and the development of Mold Rugby Club. Two organisations that had a massive influence on Paul. In his name they can give the same opportunities for other people with heart problems and support the amazing work the BHF conducts.

If you hate my beard, admire it or it has ‘grown on you’ just like it has on me, donations of any size are warmly welcomed through this here Just Giving Page.
