girls ALIVE improves health, confidence and wellbeing through community sport and volunteering; engaging local volunteers and community groups to understand specific barriers to sports participation and to deliver tailored, empowering experiences, developed at a local level.

Story

girls ALIVE is fundraising  to encourage more women to get active in their communities to improve their mental and physical wellbeing and to raise money for Bowel Cancer UK in memory of Sarah who sadly died from bowel cancer in 2019 at just 30 years old, after courageously fighting with the disease for nearly three years.

Also inspired by Sarah's two friends and girls ALIVE members- Anisha and Lucy, who have both been affected by this disease, we aim to raise as much awareness around Bowel Cancer as possible and help campaign for early diagnosis and access to the best treatment and care

We will be splitting all donations equally between girls ALIVE and Bowel Cancer UK.

Thank you for your support.
