I'm planning to raise £5000 in 2014 as it will be five years since my friend and colleague, Darren Gordon, passed away from malignant melanoma at the age of 27. All money raised will go to the Royal Marsden Cancer Charity who are doing research into the type of cancer which affected him and have a fund in his name.

 

To start it all off I’m asking people to donate £10 for an hour of my time. I'll do anything (legal) that allows for my advanced years and general decrepitude or I can make small knitted or crocheted items (hats, baby bootees, etc) in team or club colours.  There will be some home-made jams and chutneys when I can get the ingredients and jars.

There will be other things happening but this is just for starters.
