Story

Hi Everyone,

For the first time in 14 years my hair will be chopped by about 25cm!

The hair will be donated to The Little Princess Trust, a charity that provides real hair wigs for children who suffer hair loss due to cancer treatment.

The money I raise through your generous donations is going to  The Silas Pullen Fund.  Silas was a very brave boy  from my primary school  who died  in December 2013 at the age of 11 from an aggressive brain tumour.

The Silas Pullen Fund was set up by Silas' parents under  The Brain Tumour Charity to raise funding for the much needed research into paediatric brain tumours.   Brain tumours are still the biggest killer in children and young people and yet less that 2% of national cancer funding is spent on brain tumour research. The  Silas Pullen Fund aim is to help change that and at the same time give hope to any other family that suffers because of it.

I will have my hair cut on September 1 and I will post photographs for all of you to see. I really hope everyone can give something no matter how small, please donate and check out The Silas Pullen Fund as well.
