Story
When our daughter was four months old, she had a thoracotomy to repair a double aortic arch, a vascular ring that was compressing her airway and oesophagus.
Evelina London team at Royal Brompton Hospital looked after our family through all of it. The people who work there gave us confidence when we had very little of our own (big up to Chantal!)
Our daughter is thriving now. Properly thriving. She came through the surgery, came through the recovery, and she is doing brilliantly. We are incredibly lucky, and we know that.
I am walking 104 miles to raise money for Evelina Children’s Hospital, because places like that do not run on goodwill alone. They need funding for equipment, for research, for the things that make the difference.
My target is £150. If you can spare anything at all, it goes directly to supporting the hospital that helped save our daughter. And if you cannot donate, sharing this page means just as much.
Thank you.
Giuseppe
