For IiMER’s annual fundraiser, “GIVE IT UPtober”, my parents have gallantly agreed to give up their favourite sweet, magnum ice creams, for a month.
From October 1st 2017 - 1st November they will live a difficult, magnum free life. Unfortunately I'm unable to join in as I'm dairy intolerant so don't eat magnums anyway. I suffer from ME and my parents are my primary carers. My life is restricted in many ways including my diet and I frequently suffer from digestive  problems. My ME was initially started by a gut virus. Hopefully any money my parents receive for their kind support will go towards IiMER's biomedical research including into the gut

GIVE IT UPtober is a simple annual fundraiser whereby LDIFME, IiMER's crowdfunding campaign, ask healthy friends and relatives to give something up for October.
