I've worked for The Yard since Dec 2018 and have seen first hand how it helps children and young people with disabilities and their families through play. The Yard doesn't only provide a fun and accessible space, the staff and volunteers are all so creative, caring and all around wonderful.

I started running recently and loving it but have only ever done 5k or slightly over. So why 10k, you ask? Well, I did a poll on Instagram and folk voted for 10k so here I am!!! Never put off by a challenge 😁 

I know times are hard but if you can donate a fiver, please do. Times are even harder for parents and carers with young people with disabilities in lockdown. Under such circumstances The Yard is trying their best to support young people and families who need them desperately. So I'll be proud if I could raise a few pounds for them. Thanks for your help.
