Each year, The Park Federation raises money for Action Aid to sponsor children across the globe to have access to education as well as clean water and medicines. Across the eight schools in the federation, a child is sponsored in every year group. This is a total of 60 children. Together, we are making a difference to all of these children and providing them with opportunities for a bright, and successful future. 

At Godolphin, we have welcomed our sponsored pupils Ebrima, Amarilis, Dhristi and Tuyshimire into our whole school community and we look forward to receiving letters and updates from them and in return sending them letters, drawings and postcards back. 

Normally, each school within the federation would host huge community events to fund raise money and make sure we can continue to provide for our global pupils. However, this year the global pandemic struck and we have been unable to hold our usual events and therefore restricted in our fundraising abilities. Even worse, charities across the globe have been affected by the world crisis which has meant that those most in need have not had access to as much help and support. 

Our global pupils need our kindness more than ever. Everyone in our country, and our community will have been affected by the pandemic in some way and it has been a challenging and difficult time for us all. In times or darkness, we can still bring some light. Any donation will make a difference to the lives of our global pupils.
