Story

This year Paul and I are running in memory of Nancy Hammond, who loved Southwark and committed the majority of her life to helping the poor and needy in the borough  of Southwark.
Nancy, a popular character known to so many, had her fingers in a number of pies in the borough and devoted decades of support to the Mayor of Southwark's Common Good Trust, Southwark Heritage Association,  the Southwark Young Pilgrims as well as being secretary for the Southwark Chamber of Commerce.

We hope those of you who remember Nancy can help us use this event to raise a record amount for the Mayor of Southwark's Common Good Trust. A recognised local charity that works hard to assist the poor and needy of Southwark. A charity that Nancy was proud to serve for many years. Her legacy will be our effort to keep it going by raising much needed funds.
