We want to convert our front playground into a multi-sport all weather area.  This will include resurfacing and new line markings to allow a range of sports, as well as higher fencing to stop stray balls going onto the road.

Our playground consists of hard, uneven tarmac that causes many bumps and scrapes. We cannot use the playground in wet/damp conditions, limiting its use for PE, more competitive sports and outdoor play and learning.  We want our pupils to be able to play outside more freely and play sport safely and competitively (in line with the new 2014 curriculum).

What will a multi-sports area offer?

The multi-sport all weather pitch will look great and allow our pupils to:

• Run around and play safely (whether its skipping, football or for lessons);
• Have many more PE lessons outside – in a safe and more inspiring environment;
• Play more in-house competitions (which the children all love taking part in);
  
• Allow us to host friendly sport competitions with other local schools.

What do we need from YOU?

The multi-sports area will cost over £60,000! So, we are asking YOU to help us raise some of this money by Pitching In and Sponsoring a Pitch Square. A square costs £15, £30 or £50… Or you can donate you own amount. We will display all sponsors / donators on our ’Pitch In’ Totaliser Board and on a permanent commemorative plaque.  However you can donate anonymously if you prefer.
