April is the month we use to raise awareness of poverty. 

On the 17th April, staff members from Glasgow Kelvin College have volunteered to fast for 24 hours to raise money for the Trussell Trust who aim to eradicate hunger in the UK. They have five foodbanks in the north east of Glasgow.
