Tough Mudder 2013 - London South · 8 June 2013 to 9 June 2013 ·

We are MACS; supporting children born without eyes or with underdeveloped eyes. Every year in the UK, around 90 children are born with a MACS condition. We provide practical and emotional support for the whole family, to help children reach their full potential and enjoy life.

Story

Mace and GKR, are joining forces to raise money for MACs Children Charity by taking part in Tough Mudder; the 12-mile hardcore obstacle course designed by British Special Forces.

On Saturday 8 June our team will be running through mud, fire, ice-water and 10,000 volts of electricity to help raise awareness of the issue and to raise funds for the charity.

MACs Children Charity is the UK’s national charity for children born without eyes or with underdeveloped eyes. They support families of children born with Microphthalmia (small eyes), Anophthalmia (no eyes) and/or Coloboma (cleft of the eye). Their services are accessed by around 800 families around the UK and further afield.

The Mace Foundation, a charitable trust set up by Mace Ltd, has kindly offered to match the funds raised by Mace up to a value of £1500

All donations for this special cause will be warmly welcomed and gratefully received.
