Since his diagnosis, I've watched a very proud, hard working man who wasn't happy if he wasn't working in the garden, tinkering with cars or doing jobs around the house, struggle with severe back pain, chronic fatigue, postural issues, limitations in his ability to do simple daily tasks & have a lot of the things he should be able to enjoy in retirement denied to him. 

I'm sure there are countless folks out there who have similar stories and experiences with Parkinson's and family members and I'm sure most will agree that helping to research and advance treatment of sufferers, should be something we all support by any means we can. 

For myself, that means trying to rally a bunch of like minded (slightly sadistic) folks together to put our bodies through the mill for a challenge to support and honour Parkinson's sufferers and also the charities and workers who dedicate so much to develop the way the condition is handled for this generation and the next. 

Our challenge, 'The David Goggins 4x4x48' is to take place on the 5th - 7th March and will see us cover 4 miles every 4 hours for 48 hours!
