On August the 12th I am going to be completing in bike riding charity event !!! In this event I am going to ride from Glasgow (Port Dundas) to Edinburgh via the Forth and Clyde forth and union canals. Why am I doing this ? I am completing this challenge to raise money and Awareness about the silent killer - Prostate cancer. Prostate cancer claims 34 men's lives every day here in the UK ! Where is the money going ? Last year I completed a 10 k run and managed to raise an excellent £600 that went to Prostate cancer UK !! BUT this year I would like to donate to somewhere LOCAL and proceeds will be split between : 1) Starth Carron Hospice 2) Prostate Cancer Scotland With your help I hope we can match and exceed last years fundraiser !!!
