Please Help me raise as much as I can for this great cause.

London Marathon 2018 · 22 April 2018 ·
I'm running the London marathon 2018 to raise money for carers - those wonderful women and men who saved the sanity of my family and continue this miraculous work for others.
The last four years of my father's life before we lost him in sept 2016 were terrible for both him and us. He had dementia and became increasingly difficult for my mother, my sister and me to manage. He would go out and not been seen for hours. On one occasion, I was waiting at the bus stop for him to get off the bus from 2pm till 10pm That time I had to report him missing. Wouldn't wish that stress and worry on anyone. Leaving the cooker on several times, I'd visit not knowing if my dad would be home or even able to answer the door. Mine and my family anxieties were overwhelming, my father was diagnosed with vascular dementia in 2012. When he was 64 years of age. So young, to go through this.
We were falling apart and the carers helped us. In particular Rickeeno Innis especially, but they all looked after my dad. Gave him his medication, visited him 3 times a day, breakfast lunch and dinner 7 days a week. They were a godsend. Their patience, practicality and good humour is something that will stay with me forever.
All too often carers are undervalued and overworked. My marathon is nothing in comparison to the hard work and dedication they show every day and it's a small thank-you for their huge commitment.
I would be grateful for your support, in way of a small donation to help me to that start line in April next year xxx
