Most of you will know that my work introduces me to clients who have sustained severe and complex injuries.  Many have sustained traumatic brain injuries, the effects of which can be devastating and completely life changing for both the individual and their family.

Each year an estimated 1 million people attend hospital A&E following head injury. Across the UK today there are approximately 500,000 people living with the long term effects of traumatic brain injury.

My clients and their families frequently report how much they are helped by charities and groups following injury and one of the key charities providing this much needed support is Headway.

In March 2023 I will completing a Sahara Desert Challenge raising essential funds for Headway.  I will trek for 4 days through the relentless heat of the day and camp out in the plunging temperatures at night.  It would be fantastic if you could help me reach my fundraising target of £1,500.  

The funds will make such a difference to so many families. For example £15.00 will cover a Headway volunteer expenses for a whole month.  £50.00 will provide 2 family information packs and just over £200.00 will run the UK helpline for a day.
